International Order of the Blue Gavel - District 26
Gentlemen and Past Commodores,
Please note the link for the Individual Application Form at the end of this notice, for use with induction at our next annual meeting. We will be holding this meeting at the Huntington Yacht Club on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:00pm through 5:00pm.
We will present a varied agenda including discussions on obtaining approval from various government entities and the like for new and modified construction at Yacht Clubs, our Annual Meeting, induction of New Past Commodores and our general orders of business. It appears on consensus that our present slate of officers have one more year to their present terms. It would be nice if a representative from each member club would present highlights from their clubs activities and needs for the up and coming year.
HYC (Huntington Yacht Club) will have a Luncheon open to all Past Commodores, their significant others and club friends. Please contact PC Eliot Levine at e.levine@redsail2.com or fax 631-234-5561, to confirm your attendance so we will be sure to have enough food on hand. The club would normally be closed except for our meeting. Luncheon will include Soup or Salad, Skirt Steak, Free Range Chicken, Grilled Salmon and Balked Stuffed Tilapia, seasonal fruit and chocolate cake. We will also have a cash bar. The price for same has been set at $40.00, final figure. All drinks will be extra.
